Men’s Day
The Men might of been small in numbers, but was big at heart when they brought the old gospel March 28,2010. Rev Boroughs from Smith College was the guest speaker explaining the importance of Palm Sunday. Since this is Rev. Boroughs last year here, we will pray for you and your travels.
The Gospel Stravaganza

This is the second year of the Gospel Stravaganza and it continued to praise Gods name to the highest with song. Jacqui Wallace directed the Goodwin Choir along with a few members from Wesley choir and the childrens choir. It was a packed church with a little over 60 people that came out to hear Gods house jam.

Saturday, Sept 26th Workshop – 8:45 am at the Cadigan Center. Registration is $20 which includes: continental breakfast, snack, lunch, workshop materials, and gift bag.
Sunday, Sept 27th – Worship Service at 11pm
Rev. Williams
Rev. Floyd Williams invited the Goodwin Choir to worship with him and the Lathorp Nursing Home in Northampton July 19th 2009. It was a great time hearing Rev. Williams play the piano and share scripture with us and the people at Lathrop Nursing Home.
New Officers were appointed Sunday July 26th, 2009
Sunday after service, there was a members meeting where new officers were appointed, and just incase you missed out here is the list. (new officers in red)
The Blood
As the Goodwin Choir wind-down for the summer, once again they come strong. Missing a few members, they come together with there hearts and minds on God singing “The Blood” directed by Marisha Joyner and singing solo is Jacqui Wallace.
Welcome Back!
Goodwin would like to welcome back Pastor Alfred Johnson Sr. along with First Lady Tina Johnson, as God has placed them in our lives for another year. May God bless them and keep them as warriors in christ. Also we would like to thank Alfred Johnson Jr. as he gave a beautiful message on “Where Is Your Mind.”
Men’s Day
The men of Goodwin celebrated there Annual Men’s Day starting with a breakfast where Dr. Bill Darity was the speaker discussing mens health. On Sunday Rev. Floyd Williams delivered the message, and the Men’s Day Choir showed how sweet the name of Jesus truly is. Thank you men for making another Men’s Day something to remember.
Stolling Ceremony
Missionary President explains that a perfect heart isn’t just a heart that is bright red and a perfect shape, but a heart that gives to those who are in need and receives from what people can give. And that is what a missionary is. The Missionaries were very beautiful in there white to show support of the recipients of the stoles. The recipients are Marisha Joyner, Andrianne Andrews, Yveline Alexis, Vanessa Fabien, Christina Scharbaai, and Patrica Link. The Matron recipients are Jacqui Wallace, Wanda Cabrera, and Nancy Schroeder (Dedicated her stole in memory of Phylis Herbert) Congrats to all the recipients, and always remember what a perfect heart looks like.
